Mary Christine Kane is a writer, teacher and speaker. Her writing has appeared in Cream City Review; HuffPost; Business Insider,The Sun; Bluestem; Arkana, Plainsongs; and elsewhere. She is a Twin Cities Moth StorySLAM competition winner and the author of the poetry chapbook, Between the stars where you are lost, published by Finishing Line Press.

Mary lives in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota and grew up in Western New York, where many of her poems are set. She earned an MFA from Hamline University. Formerly a copywriter, Mary is now a digital marketing consultant as well as an animal rescue volunteer and council member for the Cat Writers' Association.
